I built The Market School because I kept seeing smart, capable young people and brilliant independent businesses sitting on the same street, but completely disconnected from each other. I wanted to build a bridge between them.

Working & studying at the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Continuing and Professional Learning, I have spent over two and a half decades leading professional learning programs, managing community development initiatives, and building strategic partnerships.

Personally, I am a born and raised in downtown Toronto and continue being an itinerant resident with a deep love for the unique character, history, and vibrant energy of Kensington Market. The Market School is the intersection of his professional expertise and his personal commitment to neighborhood resilience.
